Friends & Family of South Loop School

In 2003, a fundraising initiative for the school was established: Friends & Family of South Loop School, Inc. Individuals and businesses may make monthly or one-time donations to this 501(c) 3 corporation, all of which are fully tax deductable as allowed by law. Each year, donations collected by Friends & Family  are used to upgrade or augment the school's resources beyond what is provided in the basic CPS budget.

Friends and Family of South Loop School, Inc.Current fundraising initiatives will cover:

  • Capital expenditures on technology: iPads, interactive whiteboards, laptops
  • Expansion of our Spanish language program

Friends & Family of South Loop School, Inc., is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation and as such all contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.  Friends & Family is a volunteer organization and has no paid employees, so that 100% of contributions benefit South Loop Elementary School.
