Please provide your name, your child/children's name(s) and your child/children's classroom grade(s). Ideally, each classroom will have TWO Co-Room Parents. Current Room Parents are encouraged to apply again.
Positions will be finalized and confirmed by July 27th and the new term will begin August 1, 2012.
Although the primary responsibilities as a Room Parent are determined in consultation with each teacher, below are some general guidelines for the role:
-Complete the email and phone contact list for your classroom and help ensure that all parents have the opportunity to sign up for and receive the official School School email blasts
-Coordinate a "Meet & Greet" during the first month of school for classroom parents
-Serve as a resource for classroom parents and act as a liaison between the classroom teacher and parents
-Solicit volunteers and donations for classroom activities as requested by the teacher
-Answer school-related questions for classroom parents
-Communicate pertinent school and classroom news and volunteer opportunities to parents as necessary
