No Parking in the South Loop School Parking Lot

While we appreciate the huge amount of time and effort that you put into making our school one of the best that the city can offer, we are asking that parent volunteers refrain from parking in the South Loop School parking lot from 8am to 4pm. There will be no exceptions made and unauthorized cars will be ticketed and towed.
We understand the inconvenience that this imposes on you and we hope that you can understand that several staff members must be able to leave and return on days that they must travel off-site for meetings and appointments. Having cars of parent volunteers imposes a huge delay on the process of leaving from and returning to the parking lot. Furthermore, several of our teachers must travel to the branch to teach kindergarten classes and this imposes a huge inconvenience on their ability to make it to those classes on time - as well as being able to park and return to the main building in a timely manner.
As an alternative, please consider parking on State St. and walk over to the main building. As always, we thank you for your continued support and hope that you can understand that we ask this of you with your child's education in mind.
Once again, please do not park in the school lot if you do not hold a position at South Loop School!!!
